Hi Community!

I have been having a problem with my server running proxmox, i will post the specs of the server under the explenation of my problem.
So my server has this thing where it will boot just fine i will have access to the proxmox web ui, i am able to run my vms that i need (plex, home assistant) and then after 10min it will just stop having a connection to the network. When i go and look at the server all the fans are still spinning but i just dont have access to my proxmox server anymore and all the vms that are running on it also loose their connection. Then i have to reboot the server and it works again just fine for another 10-15min and then it happens again. My server has the following specs,

Mobo: x99 dual CPU (chinese sadly)
CPU: 2x intel xeon E5-2670 v3
Ram: 8x 16GB 2133Mhz ECC
PSU: 500 watts

Ofc having these issues for a while you start testing and checking what the problems could be, and i figured out that when i use only 4 ram stick instead of 8 there are no problems, i have tested all the ram sticks and they all work. For some reason i just cant use 8 ram stick because when i do my server just looses network connection after 10-15min of running. I did noticed that right before the server looses network connection this shows up on the terminal of the server

I have no idea what the problem could be and i hope that the community will be able to help me.

Network connections failing after some time often mean a duplicate IP address on the network. Is your server still working after it loses the network connection?
Can you login using the physical keyboard and display (before and after the network connection fails)? What is the output of cat /etc/network/interfaces? What is the output of ip a before and after the network connection breaks?
EDIT: If you don't see a login prompt, press the Enter key once or twice.

Thank you for the fast help, i do like to remind you that in my official post i said that when i run my server with only 4 ram sticks i dont loose network connection, this only happens when i use 8 ram sticks. so it cant be a duplicate IP on the network otherwise it would also happen if i only use 4 ram sticks. Unless i am wrong about this and ram sticks affect what kind of IP my server has.

Sorry, for replying too fast. Pleas check your memory with memtest86+ because it can crash your system when memory usage grows into the broken chips. If you memory is broken then it might already have corrupted your Proxmox configuration and VMs.
Can you login using the physical keyboard and display after the network connection fails? Is Proxmox still running or did it freeze completely?

EDIT: OK, you already tested the memory. Please check for a motherboard BIOS upgrade or use other memory? Sounds like a hardware compatibility issue and not something that can be fixed by configuring Proxmox.

The BIOS version is the latest version that is available for this Mobo, i have direct access to the terminal of the proxmox server and it is not frozen everything is running there is just no network connectivity. I cant access my proxmox web gui, i cant access home assistant and i cant access plex when i use 8 ram sticks but it does boot and everything. I only have stable network access when i use 4 ram sticks

New update: i got it to work with 6 ram sticks now but the second i add the last 2 sticks and have all 8 in their it doesnt work anymore. when i do a memtest with all the sticks in there it freezes at this part of the test

Now i did check all the ram sticks individually with memtest86+ and non of them have errors, so i really have no idea what is the problem that prevents me from using 8 sticks.

Sounds like an incompatibility with the CPU or motherboard, that particular memory and/or the BIOS version.
