Hi all, I encountered a problem while working on a vz migration. We have been running a proxmox VE 1.9 and two opnvz are running. One base is fedora core 3 and the other is 4. We planned a proxmox migration from 1.9 to the latest version 4.2 recently. The proxmox 1.9 is the host previously and we try to install proxmox 4.2 under ESXi this time.
The command I used for restore is pct restore. A error message is appeared.
Detected container architecture: i386
################################################
Converting OpenVZ configuration to LXC.
Please check the configuration and reconfigure the network.
################################################
unsupported fedora release 'Fedora Core release 4 (Stentz)'
I guess the fedora core is too old so proxmox 4.2 does not support it anymore(exactly wording from the error message). Anyone have an idea of how to restore a very old version fedora in proxmox 4.2?
Much thanks from proxmox beginner
Tom
