Proxmox KVM and LXC Incremental Snapshots

it's possible to do Incremental Snapshots for KVM and LXC over Proxmox 5.1?

What Snapshots? The backupmode, or the real snapshots, for example for software experiments.
For Backup no. For the normal Snapshots with ZFS yes. With LVM-Thin and qcow2 i don't know.

I think maybe snapshots for Containers in Proxmox gui may be dependant on the file system type of the storage device. I am not sure as I am looking for the same answer myself, just backup is available in LVM and snapshot is there in the menu but is not usable.

No. Only Full backups are possible with the snapshot backupfeature. But you can choose an other compression. Use GZIP with PIGZ for maxium compression.
