Proxmox - IP address management

Hi Team,

Greetings!

We have proxmox running as a Hypervisor on our hardware.
We have 40 to 50 nodes running several os.
Is there a way to manage the IP address in proxmox?
We want to assign a new IP address to the virtual machines and also we can change the IP address. Currently the IP address to the machine is assigned by DHCP but we dont want to use DHCP for this. Is there any other software also which can achieve this goal?

Hi,

this is only possible if you use container.
With KVM you can't set the ip.
