Hello

I cannot install Proxmox 7.0,7.1 nor 7.2 on a HP Proliant DL360G7.
Always when the installer starts it sets a screen resolution and frame rate
which no monitor can handle; far beyond 1920x1080.

Even the modification of grub.cfg was not helping. Does anyone
have a hint how to force the installer to use a certain resolution
and frame rate?

Regards

Roland

Same problem here with this Machine. Could be a problem with the Matrox 2000 Display Chipset?

No, it's a problem with the kernel used in PVE 7.x up to now. There is a fix in the upstream Ubuntu kernel and we just have to wait until newer 7.2 (or up) iso images are generated. To solve it right know, install Debian Bullseye and theren PVE on top.

(this has been discussed plenty in the forums including the upcoming patches - just search the forums)

I could get around it by installing 6.4 and upgrading it to 7.2
The installer of 6.4 works on this hardware.
