Hello, hoping someone can help me with the following. I am trying to get proxmox 8.4 up and running on a Dell R640 server. The installation works fine, however the network card is not recognized, which is an Intel E610 10BASET quad port card. The kernel module (ice) loads fine with no errors, however it seems that the required firmware is not in the pve-firmware package.
The resolution seems to be to install the non-free firmware deb package from Debian 12, but that's not really an option for me as I don't have physical access to the server - at least for now. All I have access to is iDRAC.
Hoping someone may have a different approach as to how I can get this card up and running. If any Proxmox folks are here, do you know if the firmware for this module will be included in the future --OR-- even better, can it be included in the existing ISO?
