proxmox installation freeze

I couldn't install proxmox ve 1.4 beta2 or beta1 on an amd-opetron-2212 dual core with raid controler areca.
I very surprise because proxmox is based on last debian??
Someby have some feedback about this hardware.

2. on what install stage does it fail?
