echo 1 > /sys/module/kvm/parameters/ignore_msrs

no change

Also states:
no vnc
Failed to connect to server

i also reinstalled proxmox just in case I initially did something wrong. it reinstalled with no errors.

You selected a virtual CPU for your VM with AES but your host system CPU does not support AES. Choose a virtual CPU type that is supported by your hardware (or simply use host or max).
