Hi im new to proxmox in setting up a HomeLab for learning server virtualization i have a all AMD system with a 5600x and 32GB of DDR4 and a Intel ARC A770 16GB and every time i try to run the installation i get installation aborted i cant even get to the GUI for install. any help is much appreciated.

Can you provide more details? Just that doesn't help. Is AMD-VT enabled in the BIOS settings? Are there any other errors?
Also, how'd you create the Proxmox VE install media?

This happened to me earlier this week. Proxmox 7's installer uses an "older" linux kernel that doesn't support the A770.

Proxmox 8's installer, which just released a few days ago, supports the card.

In order to get Proxmox 7's installer to work with the card, I had to boot with the "nomodeset" kernel parameter, get to a TTY, change the device to act a generic frame buffer device, and then start the installer with the "startx" command.

Did u try to instal proxmox on top of debian? The proxmox 8 has been released, try install it on top of debian 12 or download the iso installer.

Proxmox VE 8.0 installer counts both with a cli installer and an (advanced) option to run the installer with the nomodeset kernel parameter in its advanced settings for devices with limited kernel support.
