Proxmox Install on USB-Device

Hi,

i have just installed Proxmox-2.2 on a 8GB USB Stick. The Installation ran without problems, but the System
does not boot:

Loading, please wait
Volume group "pve" not found
Skipping Volume group pve
Unable to find LVM volume pve/root

What is the Problem?

installing on USB is NOT recommended. USB sticks are known to die quite soon.

but if you still want to try it, play with the boot settings, see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Debugging_Installation

I know, it is only for Testing.

The Solution is "rootdelay"

On Grub Boot Menue Press "e", then add "rootdelay=10"
-> linux /vmlinuz-2.6.32-17-pve root=/dev/mapper/pve-root ro rootdelay=10 quiet

Now it works.
