Hello,
I have tried installing proxmox VE 7.4, 8, and 6 and every time it fails.
In the photo is the error screen from the failed 7.4 install. I have checked everything including multiple proxmox ISOs, multiple proxmox versions as stated before, multiple partitions, multiple partition schemes, ran memory tests, ran processor stress tests...
The machine runs IBM bios, no UEFI, boot mode is legacy. Windows 10 install works perfectly. Also tried removing some ram and running it with 128GB ram.
System specs:
4x intel Xeon e7 4870
48 x 16 GB ddr3 ram (total: 768 GB)
2x 270GB disks, IBM m1015 SAS/SATA RAID controller based on lsi chipset flashed in IT mode.

Thank you for your answers in advance.

As you don't specify which 8.x release, did you try the latest 8.3-1 ISO?

What medium do you use to install? USB? CD/DVD? Virtual IPMI device?
How did you write the ISO to the installation medium? That's a common cause of problem.

I tried every single version available for download including 8.3-1. I have also tried 7.x and 6.x. For installation medium I have used over 5 different usb sticks and usb ports. I used Rufus and Balena Etcher to write the installation medium. I have formatted the USB to mbr for the bios/legacy.
