Hello all.
I intend to build a new proxmox system.
The basis will be a Supermicro X11SCH-F motherboard with 64 GB ECC RAM and an Intel Xeon E-2246G CPU.
The board supports M2.M-Key NVMe SSDs.
I would like to use a large fast NVMe. On it should be the Proxmox system with all VMs. Backups of the VMs will then be stored on a NAS via network.
What do you think about this? What would be your advice to run the Proxmox system and VMs on a Proxmox server?
Somewhere I read that it makes sense to run the VMs on a fast NVMe. Because of the write accesses etc. I think I remember that you should pay attention to high IOPS rates. Do you agree with this?
Unfortunately, I can no longer find the video from which I got this information.
