Proxmox HA cluster with 2 Proxmox nodes + Storage cluster with 2 GlusterFS nodes

I have 2 Proxmox 3 and 2 debian with GlusterFS.
I'd like to have a HA cluster with Proxmox. I know Proxmox need three nodes to have a fully HA configuration but i'd like to know if it's possible to use one of my Debian to make a "fake node" just for replication and HA.
I found https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Two-Node_High_Availability_Cluster but it's about Proxmox 2 and I'm not sure that cluster configuration is the same under Proxmox 3.

Yes, you can by using a quorum disk.Check https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Two-Node_High_Availability_Cluster#Create_the_Quorum_Disk
Why you don't just put proxmox on all of them + Gluster or better Ceph? If their hardware is capable of course.

Yes, it still applies on 3.x

Thanks, I'll see do that.

There is some docs that details how the Proxmox cluster works cause I'm a bit lost between Fencing, Quorum, cman, ...

I've 2 servers designed for storage with a lot of HDDs and others with 2 CPU and lot of RAM for Proxmox.

I can add Quorum disk without problem but I can't set VM in HA yet.
I have to enable fencing to have HA VM?

I never use fence device before. I need to configure my fence device (IPMI for at least one of nodes) before (IP address, pass word, ...) and configure Proxmox with these information or Proxmox configure the device with info given in "cluster.conf"?
I'm not sure if the second nodes i use, only for test, have a fence device. Can I try HA if just the first one, which one run VM at beginning, do fencing?

I think you will need IPMI on both of them to work.
If you want just to test and experiment you can use "manual fencing" as alternative.
Take a look in this post to get an idea of how you should configure your cluster.conf:

http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/8623-Proxmox-2-node-cluster-fencing-device?p=48890#post48890

Also don't forget:

Hope it helps...

I get a cluster with to node with HA work well and VM in HA migrated when I stop rgmanager on the node with the VM.
But, for example, if I disconnect Ethernet connection from the node to VLAN storage where there is the hdd of the VM, the VM is no migrated.
How configure HA for this kind of failure?

edit: found errors with "fence_check -vv" so I start new thread here
