I had been running Proxmox VE version 7 with VM's on a zfs pool on the local host, I saved the VM and LXC config files, exported the datasets, and installed Proxmox V8.1, after the install I Imported the datasets and restored the config files, I haven't noticed any issues with the VM's or LXC's but the proxmox gui is really laggy. see screenshot for hardware details.
