[SOLVED] Proxmox GUI doesn't work

Hi,

I reinstalled proxmox 6.2 and now i can't enter the GUI from my workstation.
I hooked up a keyboard/monitor to my proxmox server, and after i ping my workstation from the server it actually does work.
The VM's are working just fine, and i can enter my pi-hole/domotica server with the IP adress from these VM's

It's ZFS raid 1 configured.

are you connecting to the GUI like https://<IP>:8006 ? what error do you get?

Hi,

Yes i do!

Chrome says that the site is unreachable.

But it works fine after i ping from the proxmox server to my workstation.

So after a reboot it will only work if i hook it up to a monitor/keyboard and ping my workstation.
Thats not really workable, because after a grid power failure i wont be able to connect to the server and i have to ping my workstation to make it work.

this sounds like a network issue for sure - it can be a lot of things.

when you reinstalled, did you pick the same IP address as before? is it possible that there's an IP conflict?

if this isn't the case please post your network configuration from /etc/network/interfaces , and output of ip a && ip r to see the routing table

I actually made a stupid network fault.
Gave the IPMI and the PVE the same IP.
It works fine now.
