Hello together

I am unfortunately not yet very familiar with the topic Ceph. Unfortunately, in the Gui under the item Ceph "Connection error" appears.
Ceph1.PNGOn another installation it seems to work:
Ceph2.PNG

Does anyone have an idea how I can get it to work?

Thanks and best regards

The second screenshot looks like the ceph packages are installed, but there is no config file yet. Go ahead and configure Ceph, create Monitors, Managers and OSDs. Then you can create a pool to use for your guest disks.

Dear Aaron

Thank you very much for the feedback. The screenshots show two different hosts. On the host in the 2nd image Ceph is working so far. Unfortunately, I don't get that far on the host in the 1st image, where the message is displayed "Connection error". pveceph install, I have already run on both.

I have now found out what the problem was. I connect to the proxmox host via a HA proxy. As soon as it is listed via this the error appears. Directly via the IP it works without problems. I hope this helps someone.

Best regards
