Proxmox GPU compatibility

Hi, i want to use some GPU card cheap and heat sink without cooler just to see the graphics nothing with high perfomance demand.
Somebody tried one to recommend? that is compatible with proxmox. Btw, i have a gigabyte mother x570s aorus elite.

For the Proxmox console or for GPU passthrough to a VM? Almost all old AMD GPUs have Linux driver support and will work for the Proxmox console but it's rare to find one that is fanless.
 
Yes.. most of the fanless gpu cards in the market here are nvidia. But i have deactived the passthrough, i don’t use it.
Just wanted to know if somebody tried one that is compatible and reliable on temperature/lifespan just to see the graphics on a PC with few VMs powered 24/7.
I have an eye on a GT730..
 
Make sure it's well supported (for 2D) by nouveau (or another open source driver) or you'll have issues updating the proprietary NVidia driver every time Proxmox updates the kernel.
