hi
we have proxmox 5.4 installed on 2 raid1 boot ssd disk and 3 raidZ disk for data.
one ssd failed last week.
get an other one from samsung and resilver as usual but we get a grub error .
system works fine until reboot.
at restart boot partition has disappeared.
I try to reintall grub without success.
I manually create bios boot partion and reinstall grub with proxmox iso vers 5.4 in debug mode
try to boot again

error: disk lvmid /14xxxx not found
entreing rescue mode
grub_rescue>

how can I get the system back?

I try to boot from proxmox install in debug mode from an usb key, thus try grub-install /dev/sda and get error :fail to get cannonical path of none

after more investigation it seems that the problem comes from Samsung qvo ssd 870 used as boot drive. If power loss occur or shutdown too fast we have the same issue. With Corsair mx500 , or hitachi and western HD’s we do not have this problem.

SSD are marked zfs before problem and after their are marked as partition.
does someone have ever had this issue?
