Periodically, with scheduled backups, Proxmox fails to shut down some guest VMs under Windows Server 2012R2 / 2019. The list of such machines is always random. Today Proxmox was able to turn off one VM, but not tomorrow.
All Windows Servers VMs are configured according to the guide:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Windows_2012_guest_best_practices
If you try in Proxmox web cosole to login the VM, the backup of which did not work, then can see that the shortcut key CTRL+ALT+DEL does not work. The login/password input window does not appear.
It also fails to connect to this VM through the RDP. No error message appears, the input address window for connecting via the RDP is again visible.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
