Dear,

After forced proxmox Virtual Environment 8.1.11 to update all the package from the UI, it was requested to reboot the server because change in the kernel.

As soon as I have rebooted, I have this error message : "ELF header smaller than expected".

Thanks if anybody could highlight my path.

Best Regards

How old is this install, you have kernel 4.9 stuff in there--?

Your best bet (if you want to get back up and running quickly) is probably to reinstall PVE from the latest ISO or restore from backup. Then start running tests on your boot drive and check SMART stats to see if it needs replacing

Dear,

I discovered one of my OS HDD (RAID1) is failed.
I have removed and then I could boot again.
Will replace the failed HDD and let us know.

Best Regards
Youssef
