Proxmox Drive Config on LSI 9267-8i

Hello Brains Trust,

Long time listener, First time caller...


I'm looking to beef up my Proxmox Server..

Was thinking of running a LSI 9267-8i Raid Card..

2x 250GB 870 EVO SSD for OS (Raid 1)
2x 1TB Seagate IronWolf for VM's (Raid 1)

1) Will this setup work with LSI 9267-8i?
2) Do I get better performance running OS on SSD?
3) Should I just run everything off the 1TB Drives (Raid 1)

Looking to get good I/O and Read/Writes as a lot of audio will be written and read..

Running the following:

* Proxmox 6.4-4
* Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz
* 32GB Ram Memory

Any Help/Info would be awesome..
