I have 16gb of ram in my machine, my bios sees all four sticks, however proxmox only lists 12gb of ram on the host. Any ideas would be helpful.

Hi,

please check if there is a new Bios version.
Double check that the memory stick is properly connected to the socket.
Are the memory sticks all the same?
If not maybe your timings are not compatible and the OS can't use them.

Bios is on the latest version, all the sticks of ram are identical, they are all seated correctly. Like I said the bios sees all four sticks. It's just proxmox that is missing one. Even the debian shell says the machine has 12gb instead of the 16gb that are installed.
