Proxmox Disaster Recovery

Hi There,

Just wondering can Proxmox perform any disaster recovery from HostA to HostB with different location?
I notice the replication is applied to same host with different pool. But my requirement is replicate to different host with different location.

if you have zfs you can use pve-zsync, else you can still make backups to a remote server

i dont use zfs. if make backup means there is a RPO and RTO . Data might not updated.

ZFS is the only storage technology that can achieve what you want inside of PVE (besides some storage-based off-site-replication on enterprise storage hardware) with a "small" latency of a few minutes.

We use ZFS for years and are very happy with it with all aspects but precisely also for off-site replication.
