Looking to purchase a refurbished economical desktop to run Proxmox at home for testing. Was looking on amazon. Anyone have suggestions?

PVE should run on nearly everything. The more cores and RAM you get for the money the better. And the newer the hardware the better for your electricity bill.

Best deals you will find locally in your hometown if someone wants to get rid of an old machine.
