Hi,

It is planned to have a HA cluster on a proxmox of 5 nodes (maximum 300 VM), in the future the maximum cluster size will grow to 15 nodes.
What do you think the network bandwidth for corosync would be preferable to 1Gb or 10Gb? Is 10Gb not too much for such a task?

Usually 1G should be plenty, Corosync is not very bandwidth-intensive but requires low latency. So 1G should be fine, as long as the latency is low.

Since I shortly talked to a colleague about this a quick addendum:

Do you want run other stuff (migration / management) over this network as well? Then it probably won't suffice. It would make sense to have separate networks for this.

And while we're at it some general advice: Make sure to have a second network in your corosync config as fallback - in case something goes wrong with the dedicated corosync network.
