Hello, I am not new to Proxmox however I bought and built a brand new pc for another Proxmox server and noticed there was a Proxmox version 8 iso that was released June of 2022. I used that iso and made it bootable. I then proceeded to plug my flash drive into my new computer to install Proxmox. When I got to the installation page for Proxmox it asked if I wanted to install Proxmox console or graphical? I have never seen this before when I have in the past installed Proxmox. I did console off of a guess and mid process my screens turned black and now when I boot the computer up it is a black screen and I can’t even get into the bios? Does anyone have any ideas or help please. My screen also turned black after I plugged in a Ethernet cable so I’m not sure what the heck is going on. I set the root password and then hit next and my screens went black. Specs are below.
Gpu: Gtx 1050 ti
Storage: SSD 256 m.2nvme two of these
CPU: ryzen 5 5600G
Motherboard: b550 gaming x v2
Power supply: 850 watt thermal take
All specs have been tested on another system and work. It was working just fine until I hit next and my screens went black. My only thought is that the 5600g has integrated graphics and I’m also using a dedicated gpu could those be conflicting causing a black screen? Thanks.
