proxmox bridge setup

Hi,
I really need your help and thank you for any advice in advance.

I have 3 NICs and configured them as bridge, first nic is for public network and the others are for private network. for private network I have chosen 10.10.0.0/16 subnet and configured the network interfaces as follow

iface enp3s0f1 inet manual
auto vmbr2
iface vmbr2 inet static
address 10.10.0.1
netmask 255.255.0.0
bridge_ports enp3s0f1 vmbr3
bridge_stp off
bridge_fd 0

iface enp4s0f0 inet manual
auto vmbr3
iface vmbr3 inet static
address 10.10.0.2
netmask 255.255.0.0
bridge_ports enp4s0f0
bridge_stp off
bridge_fd 0


My goal is to have two bridge interface whereas they are connected to each other for example here, enp4s0f0 is bridge to vmbr3 and vmrb3 is bridge to vmbr2

Is this a correct configuration?

Hi,

Why not simply one bridge, instead of two? This one bridge could have both interfaces as its bridge_ports
