Proxmox backups not showing up in PVE VM backup section.

In the above pic there are backups of this vm in proxmox backup but they don't show up in PVE under the VM. Am I missing something?

Did you select the right storage? (top right in that panel)

yep, but I noticed that VMID is checked (which seems to be the default). I unchecked it and now they are showing up. Thanx.

It might be worthwhile to allow PBS to be defaulted (or allow for it to remember the setting, it does not seem to now) if they have a PBS server as it is not likely they will do local backups if they have a PBS server.
