Good day,

Please help with this issue.

Proxmox Backup stuck on 15% (only on 1 VM) (14% r/w fast, 1% very slow - took 1 hour), Total amount - 1TB

Before it was ok until we have power outage.

In addition, sometimes other VMs on node are freezing during backup.

I would assume that after a power outage, the VM has to be fully backed up again, as the dirty bitmap got invalidated. So that most likely explains why your backup takes longer than usually. Regarding the inconsistent backup speed within the same backup job: Did you verify the I/O load on the PVE side and the PBS side? Are there concurrent backup jobs to the same PBS which might slow down the backup?

You can try and set up backup fleecing if not already done, that can help avoid I/O delays for the VM. See https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#_vm_backup_fleecing

No, no other backups are performing in one time.

Is it possible backup to PBS (NAS), not to local storage with fleecing?

Not sure if I understand your question, but backup fleecing is not dependent on the backup target. It acts as fast local buffer in case of sluggish I/O to the backup target.

I see fleecing option in a backup job in Proxmox GUI. Also I see NFS1, what connected via PBS. I will try tonight and will update the status.
Thank you!

Hello Chris. Backup with fleecing created some 2 vms qemu files in my attempted storages. Can I delete them?

If the backup job is not running anymore, it is safe to remove them, yes.
