Hi,

Maybe is a networking problem betwen your PMX and PBS ?

how many files do you have in your CT ? do you backup on a remote storage ? if yes, what is your network link speed ?
No, not remote, there is a local 1.000 mbit connection
centos and plesk installed only backup upload takes 20 30 seconds but backup takes too long

Good ideea!
