Proxmox Backup Server + NFS

If I install a proxmox Backup server onto a 3rd Server, can I share the HDDs with my two nodes via MFS share or is it strictly only accessible for backups?

If I want this third server to act as a backup server and file share server for two nodes, what's a better option otherwise?

That should be possible without any issues. Hopefully you have some other backup for your file shares, though!
