Proxmox Backup Server Mail Change Problem

I am writing the mail, but the mail is deleted and I cannot confirm why am I having this problem?
Do I need to create a new user?

You cannot enter an e-mail address there. You must choose a known user of the system. You can change the e-mail address of the user somewhere else in the user interface.

I want to receive an e-mail notification after the backup is made, I know it is done from here or am I wrong?

Hi,

create a new user with your needed email address and select it from the list or change the mail address of the root user.

In the edit datastore options you need to add your user account (e.g. root@pam), not the E-Mail address you want to send the notification to.

You need to configure an E-Mail address for the user under Access Control > Tab 'User Management' . There you can edit your PAM users and set an E-Mail address (see attachment).

Then if you select root@pam in the notification settings, it will send the notification to the E-Mail you added for your user.

Depends on which E-Mails you want to get. Your current settings send you every notification that is available from the system, so it's a good start. You can always turn off specific notifications if you find that they are unnecessary for you.
