Proxmox Backup on PPPOE ?

It is even possible to install Proxmox Backup Server on a PPOE connection ?

I am trying all kind of tricks, but nothing works.

So the question is: it is possible ?

I have a PBS machine, up to date, working nice for more then one year.
It was on a fixed IP , and now i moved it to a PPOE network connection .

I installed ppoeconf from here:
https://wiki.debian.org/PPPoE

And even is connecting for few second to the ISP, it keeps disconnecting. and reconnecting

When i try :

proxmox-backup-manager network list

I am getting:

Error: unknown iface option ppp

Oh nothing to do with PBS then....
it is more a OS/System issue/config with PPPOE

Kind of.
Now is magically working, but the output of proxmox-backup-manager network list is still an error.
That's why i am thinking now that Proxmox devs can take a look at it.
