Proxmox Backup Files

I'm in the process of collecting some info on which files are considered absolutely necessary to restore from a backup in the event of a complete host failure. This relates specifically to the host and not the /vz/ directory or other storage where vm's are located.

Does anybody know if such a list exists? I'm looking for things like:

/etc/network/interfaces etc

I suggest you just backup the whole /etc/, so you have all what you need (but do never restore all files, only some are needed, depends on your setup)
