Just a little question:

if i launch proxmox-backup-client command line on a directory and i interrupt the transfer after a while (two hours)
what happens?
The transferred files remains on the pbs server and are reused at the next launch or should permit the transfer of
a first whole backup?

Hi,
no the server will remove an unfinished backup, so it cannot be re-used. But once you have a finished backup on the server, chunks that didn't change will be re-used on subsequent backups and don't need to be re-uploaded.

But a chunk could be shared with other hosts/ct/vms?

Yes, the de-duplication happens on the datastore level. In the Summary tab you can see the deduplication factor showing how often a chunk is referenced on average.
