Hello,

Not sure if Im posting this in the right place, I have a server with Proxmox installed on a 500GB SSD, but I also have four 2TB other drives installed. How would I go about setting Proxmox up to use those 4 drives as one big master drive?

Thanks,
Juston

What do you mean by "master drive"? If these are HDDs I wound't use them as a VM storage because HDDs are terrible for VMs because they can't handle all the IOPS. If they are SSDs I still wouldn't use them as as the root/boot drive because it is better to have VMs and boot/root on different drives.
Proxmox only offers raid using ZFS or CEPH. If you got hardware raid you can use that too but then don't use ZFS and choose LVM thin. Its also possible to use mdadm as software raid but that isn't oficcially supported and you would need to install proxmox ontop of a Debian.

That really depends on the hardware you got, if you prefer performance or better data integrity and what you want to store on it. You didn't gave us much infos to work with...

How much RAM your host got?
What types of workloads you want to run on that raid?
Are these drives SSDs or HDDs?
Are they using SATA, SAS or NVMe?
Consumer or Enterprise grade?
How are the drives connected to your mainboard?
What model of mainboard or raid/HBA card are you using?
Do you care about stuff like replication or deduplication?
What kind of raid setup do you want to achieve?
Do you want to use that Raid inside a single VM or on the host?
...

Creating a raid is quite easy. The hard part is to do it in a way that it won't waste a lot of capacity, get a terrible performance or destroy your data.
There is no plug-and-play way to create a raid that will work perfectly out of the box. You always need to optimize stuff depending on your needs and hardware.
