Hello!

Is Proxmox 5.2-1 suitable for virtualizing the domain structure Active Directory of Windows Server 2012 and later? Does it support VM Generation ID?

Thanx!

The time it takes for a feature or bugfix to transition through our repositories to the enterprise repository is not fixed and depends on many factors, so it's not really possible to give an accurate estimate.
E.g. If there is a critical bug in the affected package, the feature will end up in the enterprise repository along with the bugfix.

qemu-server 5.0-36 is available! "VM Generation ID" is implemented? Can I already use Proxmox to virtualize the Active Directory infrastructure?

hi, yes this is implemented with that version

every new vm created gets automatically a vmgenid which changes correctly (on rollback, etc.)
you can give an old vm one with
Code:
qm set ID -vmgenid 1
caution: some applications might interpret the first occurrence of a vmgenid as change
