I have Proxmox installed on my mini PC to run Home Assistant. After upgrading to Proxmox 8 something has gone wrong and I’m not able to enter the GUI anymore.

When running Linux kernel 6.2 I got a black screen and nothing happens.

When running Linux kernel 5.15 it shows the IP the server is running on but I cant access the GUI. Home assistant is working fine.

Any idea how to solve this?

I can access the terminal by using a screen and keyboard.

I'm now able to access the GUI with Kernel 5.15.

This is what the syslog is saying from today:

Thank you for the output!

Have you tried to restart the pveproxy and pvedaemon services? Have you tried to restart the pveproxy and pvedaemon services? maybe the pveproxy service didn't start properly.

Bash:
systemctl restart pveproxy pvedaemon

If that didn't help you can provide us of the status of the those services as well

I only don't know why I'm still having a black screen when connecting a monitor to my mini PC.

Any idea how to solve this?

Yes I can login with Putty from my Windows laptop and login as root with SSH.

Also the GUI is working. I only get a black screen when connecting a monitor to my mini PC.
