I recently installed the latest proxmox (8.3.0) on a Supermicro X10SDV-TLN4F board
Bash:
root@pve:~# pveversion
pve-manager/8.3.0/c1689ccb1065a83b (running kernel: 6.8.12-4-pve)

The motherboard has 4 ethernet ports: 2 x 1Gb (Intel i350) and 2 x 10Gb (X552/X557-AT)

ip addr only shows the 2 x 1Gb cards

Bash:
root@pve:~# ip addr

I've looked at several of the threads here, with this one being the most relevant: [SOLVED] intel x553 SFP+ ixgbe no go on PVE8
As part of the things discussed in the thread, I've manually installed the latest drivers as written in this answer

the driver seems to load fine (i believe the message on module verification can be discarded)

I do not know what else I can/should explore. From the thread above, this issue should have been resolved in the latest kernel, which I'm already running.

Any help/pointers will be appreciated
