Proxmox 8.2.4 - Windows 11 No Internet connection

Fresh install Windows 11, Redhat Virtio adapter. windows firewall disabled.
original ip 10.10.100.17/24 GW 10.10.100.1
Able to ping router gateway (same subnet) but anything above is unable to access such as ping to 8.8.8.8

Changed to E1000 and changed to another IP 10.10.100.27/24 and it works.

There was no one using the previous IP before.

Anyone seen this bizzare behaviour on Proxmox Windows 11 based VM before?

Hi,

Are you sure that the VirtIO is correctly installed? When you switch back to the Virtio instead of E1000 did you see that there is internet connected on your Windows VM? and can you ping the IP from your Proxmox VE Server?

Das Problem könnte mit dem Fehler "Detected Hardware Unit Hang" zusammenhängen, der bei einigen Intel-Netzwerkadaptern auftreten kann. In diesem Fall bleibt der Adapter hängen, aber der Server bleibt online. Um die Situation zu beheben, kannst du versuchen, einige Funktionen des Adapters zu deaktivieren:

  apt-get install ethtool -y ethtool -K $eno1 tso off gso off

• Um die Konfiguration dauerhaft zu machen: musst du den Befehl zur Datei

  /etc/network/interfaces hinzufügen

Auch auf den Proxmox-Foren wurden Probleme mit der Datenübertragung und der Trennung des WAN-Gateways aufgrund hoher Datenlast diskutiert. In diesem Fall kann das Neustarten der virtuellen Maschine helfen, das Problem zu lösen.

Could the issue I'm experiencing be related? PVE 8.2.4

When I try installing Windows or Kali from an ISO over the LAN (from my Synology NAS), the installation freezes, and my existing LXC container running Plex crashes.

However, when I remove the problematic virtual machine, the LXC containers start working again.
