Proxmox 7.x kernel - Rust Support

Hi Proxmox People,

I notice the current Opt-In 7.0 kernel for PVE 9 does not contain support for Rust.

Is it possible that the Proxmox developers can include the .rlibs and .rmetas ? These are included in Ubuntu for AMD64.

This will allow new kernel drivers and subsystems that are written in Rust to work with the Proxmox kernel.

You may create a "Feature Request / Bug" over at https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/ (after looking if there is one similar already). That's the recommended place as it is more closely watched by the developers than this forum.

There are staff members here (thank you for that!), but nevertheless...!
