2 questions about Proxmox 7 Beta
1. it's already supported by pbs client and pbs server?
2. can I join Proxmox v7 node to existing Proxmox 6.x Cluster?

yes, you can send backup to the pbs server.

no. please follow the upgrade path.

I haven't had to test a restore yet, but my backups from 7 Beta to PBS are as expected.

1. I mean to Proxmox Backup Server and not only the client, we installing it on most of clusters in one of the Proxmox nodes, the question is if PBS server side ready to Debian11
2. any conception how can proxmox cluster work cross Debian versions?
it's not so easy to rebuild each time the cluster instead of working on OS upgrade, please check how can you help here...

Not yet ready (but we work already on this too).

You should run the same version on all nodes in your cluster.

it's not so easy to rebuild each time the cluster instead of working on OS upgrade, please check how can you help here...

We provided a direct upgrade way without the need for cluster rebuilding since Proxmox VE 4.0, and yes, you can also upgrade from 6.4 to 7.x without rebuilding.
But as tom said, while they are compatible one really should not run a cluster with mixed Debian/Proxmox VE major releases for longer than required (i.e., only for during the upgrade).
