So I go on ebay and buy an Nvidia Tesla P4. I have it installed in the DL580 G7 and have installed the drivers on the host added the blacklists and nvidia-smi works
and I can start a win vm with the Tesla p4 added to it. But when I go to install the drivers on the vm nvidia say now compatible device please help.

I have attached a copy of this command journalctl --no-pager -b 0 -u nvidia-vgpu-mgr.service .

Someone can correct me otherwise but I believe even mediated GPU's need sr-iov enabled at boot.

Maybe check here, to make sure you have booted with sr-iov enabled (but skip the part where the nvidia driver is blacklisted since your nvidia driver is specifically for sr-iov enabled nvidia gpus)...

I get this when I boot [Firmware Bug]: The BIOS Has Corrupted Hw-PMU Resources.... would this have anything to do with it??
