Can any one help on doing this with commands?
I have
Disk /dev/sda: 69.25 GiB -- this one is a WD raptor 74G
/dev/sda1 BIOS boot
/dev/sda2 EFI System
/dev/sda3 64.5G Linux filesystem -- btrfs mirror
Disk /dev/sdb: 279.46 GiB --this one is a WD raptor 300G
/dev/sdb1 BIOS boot
/dev/sdb2 EFI System
/dev/sdb3 64.5G Linux filesystem -- btrfs mirror
I am trying to do something that may not be good, but it should work ok, or I should not do this? Using the rest of the storage space and creating a new partition for the rest of the space 279.46 for VM, ISO.
I would like to know how to create something that will work great for putting VM, ISO and/or work with TrueNAS Scale to add (279.46G) if I can or should. If not then I will leave this for Proxmox and us this for the VM hard drive setup's. I don't know if files or partition will be best for this uses.
I am using this for pfSense, TrueNAS Scale (This I will add SSD drives to and passthrough those drive), and Linux OS, Windows 10 OS VM installs, more drives will be added later to TrueNAS Scale to handle all the other Data, Backups, Snapshot to hold all that in a redundancy capacities.
What do you think can you help.
If this one works I have another system the same to turn on and setup up alike - these units are dell server desktop like cases and only hole two spinning rust, but i am cram in SSD sold state later if this setup is good on the proxmox OS setup first.
Thank you for your time,
