Here I have used the terminal to asses the network configuration of a COMPLETELY vanilla install of PVE 7.1-7
Then pinged the vmbr3 interface from a client running on the same network as the server (192.168.50.60).
After examining the ARP cache of the client machine it appears that there is a different MAC associated with the IP (192.168.50.36)
HPDL360p GEN8 with 4 port HP 331FLR NIC
What could cause this?

After unplugging the cables to determine what is going on there's a completely different assignment of MAC to the other interfaces!!
I'm so confusion. Why would unplugging the the cable change the MAC address of 192.168.50.39??
Am I missing something here?
