Title pretty much says it all and I was wondering if anyone knew a workaround for this.
I have HPE BL460c blades that have HP FlexFabric 10Gb 2-port 536FLB adapters in them.
This adapter is a Broadcom Inc. BCM57840 NetXtreme II adapter under the HP branding and uses the bxn2x driver.
Current firmware is at 7.14.79 (Family Firmware Version)
When trying to install proxmox it dies early and says that no network interfaces are found. This is understandable... I can't get Ubuntu 21.10 to install, or Debian 11.1. Centos Stream 8 installs just fine.
Does anybody have a clue what is wrong with the recent kernel compatibility with these adapters and if there is some sort of workaround to get the kernels not to error out on them?
