Proxmox 6.x on Mac Pro

I am considering to purchase a Mac Pro (an older model about 4 years old or so), and was wondering what kind of difficulty I might face to install Proxmox 6.x thereupon? For the purposes of this question, one can presume that the machine would have an Intel Xeon (10 or 12 core) processor in it that would have the VT-x option, 512GB SSD (more to added later after installation), at least 32GB of RAM, likely a D300 graphics card (though that is really not an issue for this kind of usage), etc...

The comment about this not working on the late-2013 model is incorrect. That post that was referenced talks specifically about the Mac Pro 1,1 which was released in 2006. The 2013 one is, of course, the trash can mac which has much newer compatible hardware, unlike the forgotten OG Mac Pros.

Even the 2006 Mac Pros will work with proxmox just the install process is a nightmare. For the newer 2013 model, it shouldn't have that many issues as long as the graphics card works with Debian 10 (Buster) which it probably does. (The 2013 Mac Pro also doesn't have the sucky 32bit EFI. It has a 64 Bit EFI)

For a mini proxmox server that can be somewhere in your house and looks halfway decent, this isn't a bad choice at all. Let us know how it goes!
