Proxmox 6 + Pci-passthrough = Reports high memory usage in pve-manager

When you add a pci-express card to the VM the memory usage goes up to almost max

Maybe someone can explain why this might be? Also it seems it does have a slight impact on the performance...

Do you see anything in the output of dmesg that start showing up once you attach the device? The -w flag can be useful.
 
I've taken a look at the dmesg, but I do not see anything obvious. I have attached it into a file...

As i side note, i see your machine name is TVHeadEnd. I have huge stutter issues with my PCIe FreeSat card when passing it through to a virtual (it maybe been PCI lanes being congested) but it seems rock solid in a container with access to the /dev/dvb
