proxmox 6 cluster in public network

Is it possible? Since version 6 cluster nodes using unicast instead of broadcast. So i decided to try install 2 nodes in OVH and create cluster using their public ip. They work fine but i have doubts.

it's not recommended and will likely not run stable, as corosync still requires a stable, low-latency link.

So, if i create cluster inside vpn tunnel between two vm's on this nodes, it is also not recommended?
