Proxmox 5.2 install: No Hard Disk found!

I'm trying to install Proxmox 5.2. The server (currently running Proxmox 2.3) has an Intel MB with RS2BL040 RAID Controller.

Error message: "The installer could not find a supported hard disk"

Attached screenshot shows RAID controller's POST messages: it seem all things are ok (in fact Proxmox 2.3 works well).

Some suggestion to check the problem?

you could try to install debian an pve on top https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_Stretch

Yes, It is what I'm doing ;-) Do you think this is the only way to manage this problem? (I have to upgrade an another server with same hardware)

i dont know (we do not have the hardware here), aside from that i see the raid controller is actuall a rs2wc040 (according to the picture)
and with that, other uses had problems in the past https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/assistance-with-raid-configuration-rs2wc0800.18194/

Big problem here: even Debian 9 installation process show "no disk drive was detected" message.

This is the first time I have to manage this kind of troubleshoot.

Intel release a Suse driver for RS2WC040: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/do...ware-RAID-Driver-for-SuSE-Linux?product=43165

Is there a way to install this driver during installation?
